- Born in Hizen-cho, Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture.
- After graduating from university, he worked as a guide on the Yoshino River, Japan’s most rapid stream, and Australia’s Tully River, a mecca for rafting. After returning to Japan, he planned and operated a wide range of activities for a major domestic outdoor manufacturer. After that, he joined the professional rafting team Teikei and won the world championship twice. After 4 years of competitive activities, he decided to return to Saga and started an outdoor business, which he continues to do today.
- In the winter, I ski down snowy mountains while working at a ski resort in Hokkaido (Sapporo Kokusai, Rusutsu, Niseko).
- In February 2004, he joined R&R, a rafting company in Cairns, Australia, and trained as a warrior.
- Returned to Japan in January 2005. He joined outdoor equipment manufacturer Montbell Co., Ltd.
- Left Montbell Co., Ltd. in November 2010.
- December 2010: Joined Teikei, the only professional rafting team in Japan.
- Retired from Rafting Team Teikei in 2014.
- Returned home in October 2015.
- In 2016, with the idea of “Revitalizing Japan from the Karatsu Sea!!", he started “Taiyo Outdoor!".

We want to connect that circle of smiles and energy throughout Japan and make Saga Prefecture one of Japan’s leading tourist resort prefectures! With this in mind, we opened our business in May 2016.
We will guide you to the best course considering the conditions such as weather and wind direction.
